Hey reader,
I really want to take online school after a fiasco at my school where one of the kids decided to threaten me with a beating from his sister and to run me over with his car.
The same day, in almost the same exact hour, I was trying to take a Biology test like we all were supposed to do. These ghetto kids decided to talk almost the entire time right behind me and the teacher would get into their conversation. Finally, after another break in my concentration, I told them that I’m trying to take a test and they should be quiet. They went balistic and this other ghetto girl starting saying stuff like she had no problem with their talking until I spoke. God, she was a bitch.
So now I’m on a quest to prove to my mother that online school is not only for pregnant and expelled teenagers. I really need some help with this one, guys. She’s convinced that I’m going to go to a normal school. I just can’t take people, that’s why I want to be a writer so I won’t have to deal with any of their crud. I can just stay in my little writing hole at my desk.
Not that I will become a hermit. I will still hang out with my friends and Franklin. I am probably going to get a bus pass so I’ll be all over this town. I want to volunteer at the Pinole Animal Shelter if mom lets me do online school. I’ll have more time to get to the base academics and skip all the BS that takes over 95% of the school day.
I’ve already looked at schools and I really want to enroll in Kaplan. I was thinking before that maybe I could take online classes and try to graduate early but then about every online school I looked at forced all the students to be enrolled full-time.
Please, someone out there, tell me that there are other, good, successful kids who took online school.
P.S. Besides, high school won’t really count for me because I plan on going to a community college before transferring into a university so I just need to do good in community college and they will most likely overlook all the high school stuff.
Please READ CAREFULLY Before You Comment…
March 24, 2010Hey readers,
Just like any blogger, I love receiving comments. Even though some can be quite ignorant I enjoy laughing at them. And I’m pretty sure I know who is behind the “hurtful” (rolls eyes) comments. They want to be a bitch/asshole but fail miserably.
I love it when you comment, Willow and the occasional comment from Tyler. You guys are awesome.
But seriously. Why do I get comments that say “you’re going to have to do community college wether you like it or not” when I clearly state in my post that I WANT to go to community college first? That is not the first time I’ve gotten a comment from a confused reader trying to yoke me out for something.
So please, read carefully before you comment. I encourage commenting because I love good feedback or constructive criticism but I hate it when people say “oh the things you post are pointless” when they don’t understand it at all.
I know I’m young but don’t talk to me like I’m a stupid little girl. I don’t write what I don’t know.
